I found it to be funny on many levels. Not overly factual but still funny...

I'd go further with it but it would turn into some ugly rant about pro war versues war. But i still found it entertaining

I enjoyed it especially the part about lawyers and therapists. :)

But what I found most humorous (notice the spelling), is that the poor Brits are still bitter over losing first, the American Revolution and later world-wide influence to the US. To think, all that America has become could have been British, if only they knew how to play nice with others.
Well I guess they still could give it a go with Hong Kong and India... oh wait, err, ahh, you know, hmmmm. Never mind.

Angelx,
I think you have me all backwards on this topic...

I find it funny on the fact it was meant to be funny yet sting at the same time. Like most articles of its type, mind you.

As for what have I done???

I’m too old to enlist… Too busted up to pass if I did… I’m old enough to be President…

If I had my way. I would have carpet bombed the entire nation. Destroyed what little infrastructure they had. And declared that for every one American Non military death by another aggressor I will exact a price of 500 of your Military.
War is not about coming out with your hands a little dirty. War is about humiliating, decimating, and utterly destroying your enemies’ ability to make war in anyway.

Sadly the US runs on feeling of POLITICAL CORRECTNESS as the main driving force for all actions we do these days.

If the US of 1945 had been of the same climate as today. President Truman would have never been able to drop the bomb on Hiroshima. And we would still be fighting that damn war!

PM Blair and President Bush have had to make a lot of hard choices these past few years… Not all of them I have liked or agreed with.

But not once did I ever feel that we took the wrong action. There are 3,000 CIVILIANS who died that day at the world trade center alone. Is their blood not precious to us? Every time I see people protesting this war I ask myself. What do the families of the innocent ask for?

And yes innocents die in war… in EVERY WAR… But solders don’t pick civilian targets…

Just my two cents.

PS. I really wasn’t going to go here but since you asked.

The whole thread is that they are saying that british are still pissed cause we won our revolution =-p

As for the war In Iraq we are yet to have any solid proof that they had a hand in any of the 9/11 events.

I as an American Citizen feel this act was another ploy by the Bush family to make there pockets a bit fater in the end. Just the same as the whole Immigration scandal he is now trying to pull.

The Bush family knows that there time in power of the United States is drawing to a near after all the bad decisions they have made over the last 30 years and are trying to make sure there family will never have to worry another day if they will be able to survive as one of the strongholds in the business side of Earth.

That is just my outlook from a far glance as I see it from one americans eyes.

I hold nothing against the Republican party but I Denounce the Bush family if it ever could have a bearing and would be the first person in line to Have the whole clan Impeached.

As for the soldiers In our Armed Forces I have to applaud every one of them for the job they have done under the duress our government has had them under the whole Iraq Ideal.

THe United States Government can call it what they will.

This is just another Outspoken word by a Loyal Leagal Born United States Citizen who is using his Freedom of Speach, what ever that is worth with the Patriot Act in place.

I require many medications and many Doctors and therapists to make my life worth living . after i got sick i went into a deep depression and i may never be 100% but im improving at a good pace. its not easy to go from "normal " to haveing to relearn EVERYTHING in a few seconds .I found that part of the post "hurtful " not everyone runs to the Doctor whenever someone says "boo " some people really do need them. and i also thought religious and political posts were not permited on the boards ? It would be like me posting some off color thing about the Queen of England or the Leader of your country, weather it is true or not .it would still offend

wratha:

1. transpary isn't english,so don't hold us responsible for him posting it

2. say what you like about the monarchy or tony blair, most of us will think you are over-valuing them.

3. the entire statement was a joke, exaggerating factors within the american culture for comedy effect.

4. i really mean it, mock blair as much as you like, be warned we will probably judge your comments for originality and jokes about blair we have heard them all (heck we have to live with that joke of a man)

there is no need to take the text as a personal atack on anyone.. yes it makes fun of the USA but last i checked the USA makes fun of many contries and persons in their comedyshows and movies..

We cant all have the same sense of humor, that doesnt mean we should stop joking.

oh and btw.. I asked Trans to post link so i could read it so dont give him a hard time for posting it.
