Well, hard to disagree with some of it. EQ is a pretty hardcore game. Not played since Christmas now although I do miss it, been playing WoW very casually, a lot easier etc - but also entertaining, can solo your self up to lvl 70 pretty easy - only investment is some time. In EQ it's not many classes that can solo effectively lvl 25+ (I think - Usually PL'ed my characters up to lvl 40-50 and got tired of em :p)

Hope I get time sooner or later, I really miss raiding and the good people Only thing WoW beats EQ with is pvp - pvp in WoW rocks, but else I don't think it is incredibly good.

I think I will make a little iksar monk and lvl him up in Kunark and try avoiding using PoK-books etc.

I remember those zones so well, possibly my favourite zones, Loio (sarnak fort, and wind mill!!!) and the zone next to it (with a giant fort etc) !

can solo your self up to lvl 70 pretty easy

hum I found at level 30 it became harder to solo... I made a Drood spe feral and in cat form it was hard for my life bar and in bear form the kill is too slow.

Other point where i got issues in wow is the number of kids playing without any notions of stategy...

Lol feral cat ftw, soloed level 20 -70 in cat 99.9%, never used bear.

If your claws are sharp the mobs die long before you

Totally agree the quests and the ability to solo so much means not getting stuck in that LFG hell of EQ that many suffered from.

Also there isn't really any class can't solo, just need to use different tactics

Back to topic...
I thought the review was rather fair. It had a few misses but for the most part very close and fair over all

as far as, back to topic goes - I liked the review, and it was pretty nice to EQ:P --- didn't mention lfg'ing for hours and some of the other faults - but in general, I started missing EQ when I read it (baaad Tarrs!) - As far as the lack of graphic in old zones I don't mind, I actualy love the old graphic vs the new one. I was pretty upset when they uppgraded old-seb mushrooms!
