Who still plays?

Its something that keeps trying to lure me back.. occupying my time with eve online and all points bulletin.. contemplating another WOW return mind.. but theres nothing yet that has really managed to touch what EQ was.

There is something called project 1999.. which has, in effect turned back time and is like a private EQ server which I think only goes up to POP.. or might be kunark.http://project1999.org/

Keep meaning to try it but the thought of another mage epic 1.0 is ugh! and wont play any other class cuz that means i actually have to be at the pc =/

I've tried to return countless of times, it just don't stick anymore. But hands down EQ have been the best MMO to date and where I had most fun! I'm relaxing a bit in Warhammer online atm until Final Fantasy XIV and SWTOR have been released.

I think some sort of special rules server or progression server is being looked at again by SOE to implement. Not sure what it will be. I'm still around somewhat. Haven't played in about a month, but I poke around EQ now and again.

But another "normal" progression server again would be a bit lame imo, they've had like 3 of those now? Wait, the last one had you start at 50-51 and with 50~ aa's or so? Well in either case I'd like to see a server where progression was a lot slower than unlocking it with kills

Other than that I'm playing WoW casually atm and chillaxing in life, just finnished my 1 year of military service, so it's all "happy days" now

it's a small expansion, already finished the group side and mostly decked out in Tier 4 loot already. Maybe i should pick up raiding again

we beat tower a few months ago
and are now breaking into underfoot t6 raids
like fippy and the beast and the other one

roxas and kahlann slack tough seems they quited eq they where before also in the guild

tanoynx is in ludas guild i think
koldaniz plays now his pally for northly crusaders

still having fun there, we dont do to bad, numbers went down a bit and now growing again, got a new excellent raidleader, grouping is quite easy and otherwise you just start a group and it doesnt take long before you have a full one.

hot is a bit easy for groupgame the progression, anyway its easy to get good gear these days
even the faction vendor sells most nonvisible armour slots for all progress themes
