/movelog and guild issues

I guess most people haven't been able to log on after the patch yet. But it seems a lot of people were left behind. My character profiles shows both my characters unguilded on Runnyeye. However, Sony announced they would fix this asap. Let's hope it doesn't take too long.
Our guild site and forums doesn't work either. Most likely since the guild has moved (or has it?).

Now to the real issue. I found a thread on the Splitpaw server boards today called "Illuminati recruiting". Seems there is a guild called Illuminati who also was created on Runnyeye, who has moved to Splitpaw.
I can not belive the guild name filter doesn't prevent 2 guilds to be created with that similar gulid names. This is an outrage!
How the hell are people going to tell us apart? Even our own guild members manage to spell our guild name wrong from time to time.

I suggest we petition to have that guild renamed. I am almost 100% sure we made our guild first, since I have searched for our guild before typing just illu, and never gotten 2 different guilds on the list (eq2player).

Has anyone been able to get on yet and check how the guild is doing? And any suggestions about that other guild? Bet we'll get the same old "working as intended, nothing we can do" reply though

I just found a post Calizor made about the guild name issue a while back. I doubt he has heard anything from anyone.
This bothers me very much. This guild was created this month, and is still level 1. I hope and pray they will never get past level 5.

eq2players site will lag behind with up to 48 hours after a serversplit so the info you get there is NOT reliable yet. Almost everyone have been moved 39 players out of 67 (many were inactive) have been successfully moved. That includes you Jama.

Regarding the similliar named guild well that suck, let's see what we can do about it. If everyone petition we might be able to do something.

Istick didnt get moved even though he did type /movelog add. Athalantar missed the move. Havn't heard from anyone else yet.

Our guild was created 14 Nov. The other guild was created 8th of January and has only 7 members. It's time for a petition.

I couldn't agree more. Maybe we could talk to their guild leader though. New guild, and only level 1. They might be nice people who just didn't know about our guild.
If we could get them to petition too, I'm sure it would help. Or get them to restart guild altogether.

Great news about the move though. Glad most people made it over
They did post that they would be moving those who got left behind soon, so I think there is hope for Atha too.
