Warhammer Online

Well I dont know if any of you folks are thinking about giving WAR a try when it comes out, but thought id leave a small post here.

I know a post like this might seem like bad taste, but its not an attempt to lure or steal anyone away from Illumanati, I just want to make that clear to avoid any drama. Its simply put here because there are a lot of older illu folks and others roaming these boards from time to time, and well tracking people down isnt always easy... even with the AIA. And to offer anyone who intends to give WAR a try the option of trying it with some familiar faces.

Myself and some other friends will be giving it a try, so if any of you are thikning about trying it give me a yell. And even if your not your welcome to pop over to the boards and give us a shout at http://serenitywar.guildlaunch.com

Oooh and we will be playing on the side of Order... AKA the good guys... well cause everyone knows gnomes are good... well more like gnometastic in fact, some might say god like... well not just some, a lot of people already do, but then again you cant really blame them... I mean we are gnomes after all.

Catch you on the gnomeside !

slayers are apparently an advanced career. It's been reported that they will be in the game (as soo many fans of warhammer have asked about this on the forums) but how to "unlock" the career is another question.
If the game is being true to the Warhammer world then the easiest way would be to travel to the temple at Karak Kadrin (Slayers Keep) or somehow disgrace yourself.

Well as far as slayers not being a starting class I have to say im somewhat happy about that. Just imagine the dorf starting area, nothing but redhaired suicidal dorfs running about their only goal to find something that can give them a worthy death in combat.... which shouldnt be hard at level 1. :)

i Dought the warhammer equivalent of a giant rat or a Orc pawn would count as a worthy death. but the rumour is that slayers will be a "retirement" class. That have a perm death,

Had a look at it today, seems interesting, just thought it looked like "WoW 2.0", or so was my first-impression.

Might be worth a try :)

Why is it that rangers can use their equivalent spell indoors and druids cant?
