well since most of y'all are euros then i made miss teone on runnyeye (the designated uk server) so look for teone if your'e playign eq 2 on this server :)

I haven't decided if I want to play EQ2 yet, but choise of server is somewhat important if I do decide to play.
I think being an European guild on an US server is a great thing. Not a lot of rushing to get a mob. Everyone else is asleep when we start raid. Got to love that.
It's also very nice to log in and be the only one lfg from your class. If I log on during US hours, the lfg tool can take up my entire screen.
I hear US players complain a lot about lag in populated zones like PoK and now OoW zones. If I can chose between lag or no lag, but less groups/people online, I think I will chose the last one.
All these opinions are of course based on EQ1, since I haven't tried EQ2 yet. All I know is that I would pick MM again if I was given the choise.

I'm on Runnyeye as Koras too. But thinking about what Jama says she really has a good point, maybe we should move to a US server before our chars become to high levels. *shrug*

You gotta remeber that the raiding part in EQ2 aint the same as EQ1, aka mox X is up, mpb X wil pop in 3 days etc. Alot more instanced zones etc etc and it goes raidwise as well ive heard. Considering the max size of a raid can be 24 people as well, i dont think (at this stage atleast) raids will be working in same way as in EQ1.

Yea you are right Ville, all dungeons and raiding zones are instanced. And some raid encounters are even instanced triggered events. So when you think you can take that encounter you go there and do it. So ill stick to Runnyeye

My old guild Twilight raiders are going to be on Unrest server hoping we could all go onto that one and perhaps form a guild. Would simply be amazing to pull my old guildies into a new guild with my illumanati family.

While I am still frustrating about whether I should buy EQ2 or not.

FOOKING UP YOURS, SOE!!!

Itz not that I can't afford to buy EQ2, rather the fact that I won't be able to play both with my limited spare time.

If I am to play the new EQ2, I will be force to quit EQ, cancelling all 3 accounts. Concentrate solely on EQ2, start all over again from lvl 1... slowly. ( Btw, what a fooking bs it is! ... Sorry~ )

Oh well~ I will keep frustrating for a bit more.
In the mean time, you guys have fun on EQ2 eh!

im on runnyeye (mistmoore and other servers yall talking about wasnt available when i signed up).

my char name is Dmer, im a barbarian (hope to be shaman when i figure the darn quest out) cuz i cant be a froggy /cry

as for leveling, maybe im slow, but i've played for 14 hours and am only 20% into lvl 10 =( as for getting cash, its VERY SLOW =(
