WoW sucks. It's way to easy to get to highlvl after that its finished. Not to mention how much the tradeskill system sucks there. EQ2 Roxxors!

how ya been?
have you played wow? on a pvp server? It's not as easy to get high level... also the game is far from finished, theres a ton of stuff to do. Like battlegrounds, not to mention you can invade the other sides territory and take over cities... and in eq, you just raid at high lvl anyways... at least there is an overall point to this
The tradeskills rock, cause you don't spend 100's of hours trying to raise it, and they are all actually usefull, and fun.
I dunno, eq is just a lot of slow paced camping and grinding. I don't really want to play a game like that for another 4 years. So far WoW has been a blast to play. I havent been bored once, there is always something to do.... you never sit around LFG
Btw WoW has more players playing in the first day than eq and eq2 ever did at any time, number 1 selling PC game of all time.

I was in the WoW beta and that was enough. Just because the first time sales are great doesn't mean ppl will stay that long. But i guess we will notice sooner or later I will most likely buy the euro version of wow, since i like to collect all MMORPG out there :p

I had major doubts at first about the game but I really love it now. I hope you do get it If so, join the Kel'Thuzad server, and shoot me a tell, even if it is just a backup for eq2 for ya name is Souah

well koras you ar right it is fastpace. but wow is not so much about raiding but there high lvl mobs where you need a raid force. but it is more about the war, and for the high lvls there will be a honor system hero class (no idear how this works yet) and battlegrounds and the fact as savark also said you can take over some of the other siden towns and stuff.
